GPO Names Syracuse University Library with Best Federal Depository Website

10/21/24  The U.S. Government Publishing Office (GPO) honors E.S. Bird Library at Syracuse University with the best website in the Federal Depository Library Program (FDLP) for 2024. This is the second library to ever receive the award, which was created last year to recognize the creativity and easy access of Government information libraries are sharing on their websites.


Maryland Library Named Library Of The Year

10/21/24  The U.S. Government Publishing Office (GPO) names Harford Community College Library as the 2024 Federal Depository Library of the Year. The Bel Air, MD library was selected for its excellent promotion of the Federal Depository Library Program (FDLP) and FDLP digital and physical resources.


Four Libraries Expand Preservation Steward Agreements with GPO

10/16/24  U.S. Government Publishing Office (GPO) has added more than 3,000 volumes of the Congressional Serial Set containing more than 45,000 individual documents and reports to GPO’s GovInfo, the one-stop site for authentic, published information for all three branches of the Federal Government.


GPO Quadruples the Number of Congressionally Mandated Reports Since Launch

10/08/24  U.S. Government Publishing Office (GPO) now has more than 500 Congressionally Mandated Reports (CMR) from more than 75 Federal agencies available for free public access on GovInfo, the one-stop site for authentic, published information for all three branches of the Federal Government.


Federal Agencies Give GPO High Customer Satisfaction Score

10/01/24  U.S. Government Publishing Office (GPO)’s biennial customer services survey of more than 500 Federal agency customers showed abundantly positive customer satisfaction ratings. The average satisfaction rating across GPO procurement contracts, programs, and services was 96 percent. Respondents reported the highest satisfaction ratings with staff professionalism, the value of GPO products and services, and staff technical knowledge and expertise.
