TO: Printing and Publishing Officials of the Federal Government

SUBJECT:GPO no longer rounding up charges made by agency customers using the GPOExpress program-effective December 1, 2009.

This is an important notice regarding your GPO billing statements. If you are an enrolled user in the GPOExpress program, effective December 1, 2009 GPO billings are no longer rounded up for purchases made by agency customers on the GPOExpress program. Customers will now see the exact amount billed from any GPOExpress purchase on their GPO billing statements.

The GPO billing team has been testing this change to the billing function since August 1, 2009 and many customers may already have seen this change. We have determined that the new system is accurately and consistently rendering billing without rounding for all items purchased under the GPOExpress program and this practice is now in place for all GPOExpress transactions.

About GPOExpress:  The GPOExpress program is a nationwide convenience printing contract that allows Government personnel to utilize the vast network of FedEx OfficeSM Print Centers nationwide. Using the new GPOExpressSM Card, agencies will receive benefits including:

CONVENIENT LOCATIONS — access more than 1,800 FedEx Office locations nationwide, including many open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

DEEPLY DISCOUNTED FIXED-RATE PRICING — pay the lowest negotiated fixed rate for purchases, with discounts up to 70% off retail.

FLEXIBLE ORDERING — place orders online, by phone or in-center; request free proofs and estimates; and schedule pickups or free local delivery within 10 miles of a participating FedEx Office location.

24/7 ONLINE ACCOUNT ACCESS — view details of all transactions within the past three years through eView, a secure online application.

ONGOING GPO SUPPORT — The GPO staff of trained print professionals will continue to assist with placing orders, obtaining estimates and guiding you through the program.
