07/09/25 The U.S. Government Publishing Office (GPO) has made available hundreds of historic volumes of U.S. Supreme Court cases dating from 1790–1991. These cases are published officially in the United States Reports and are now available on GPO’s GovInfo, the one-stop site for authentic, published information for all three branches of the Federal Government.
06/18/25 Four libraries in the South have entered into agreements with GPO to become Preservation Stewards, and one library has expanded its collection. To help libraries meet the needs of efficient Government document stewardship in the digital era, GPO has established Preservation Stewards to support continued public access to U.S. Government documents in print format. These libraries contribute significantly to the effort to preserve printed documents.
